It reaches heights of 1 to 2 meters and widths of 1.50 meters. It blooms from August to frost. The flowers are red and elongated tubular. It needs rich, well-drained soil. It can be grown in sun or part-shade. It likes water in summer, but tolerates drought and heat. We grow it in part-shade with Fuchsia, watering in summer.
