Nerine bowdenii is a deciduous bulb of the Amaryllidaceae family native to South Africa. Flowering (3 weeks), usually pink, takes place in autumn. The foliage dries in summer and reappears in autumn. The Jersey lily should be grown in well-drained soil in sun or part-shade in our region. It can also be grown in pots.
