Description
Protea lepidocarpodendron is a shrub 2 to 3 meters high with few branches. Inflorescences have cream to pink bracts. The plant shown here is the form with cream bracts. This species is native to the Cape region, between the seaside and 600 meters altitude, on sandstone or granite soils. It flowers from late winter to early spring in our region.
