Gladiolus undulatus is a bulb (corm) from the temperate regions of South Africa. Vegetation takes place from late November to June. Flowering takes place in May-June. From July to November, this is the vegetation-free resting period. It is native to south-western South Africa, where it grows on roadsides, in disturbed areas or in wetlands in winter. When in flower, it reaches a height of 40-70 cm. We grow it in the greenhouse on the edge of the tarpaulin, where there is moisture in winter, and in the garden. It should be grown in partial shade.
