Grindelia robusta is a perennial plant whose stems can reach 1 m in height when in bloom. The daisy-like flowers are yellow and appear in summer. The button is sticky because it's coated with a white resin. It likes the seaside, sand, rocks and fairly dry ground. It is used as a medicinal plant (antiasthmatic, antispasmodic, expectorant and cardiotonic).
