Crinum bulbispermum is a large bulb in the Amaryllidaceae family native to South Africa, Lesotho and Swaziland. It reaches a height of 1 metre when flowering in summer. It grows on the banks of watercourses and in marshy areas that dry out in winter when it is at rest. It needs water to grow and flower when it is no longer dormant. In our region, it needs well-drained soil that is not too wet in winter, but rather in summer. It must grow in the sun.
