Description
Protea speciosa is a shrub that can reach 0.50 to 1.20 m in height, with a short but erect trunk. It grows from the Cape Peninsula to the Potberg, mainly at altitudes of 300 to 600 m, but occasionally from the seashore to 1300 m. It is a cool mountain plant on slopes. We grow it from seeds harvested at Silvermine and sown in 2010. The plants were planted in 2011.
