Our example comes from the Port Elizabeth region. Its resting period is in summer. It lives in autumn, winter and spring. The leaves dry naturally and reappear in early autumn. Flowering takes place in late autumn or early winter. If you’re growing it in a pot, don’t water it until it’s leafless.
