Description
Elegia capensis is a large herbaceous plant that can grow up to 3 meters high in the right conditions. It looks like bamboo (non-tracking) or horsetail, but is a restio. To grow it well, it needs water, for example from a pond, stream, basin or gutter, or irrigation. With these conditions, the plant can reach 2.50 meters in height and a spread of 3 to 4 meters.
