Description

It can reach 5 meters in height. It has evergreen foliage and no lignotuber. Flowering takes place in autumn-winter and early spring. Its inflorescences are 6 to 15 cm high, with variations of gold and orange. It needs light to moderately heavy soil with good drainage and humidity. It is pollinated by bees and hornets. Our specimen comes from the Muséum national d’histoire naturelle and was planted in 1996.
