Aloe hazeliana var. howmanii is a small aloe that grows on cliffs in eastern Zimbabwe, south of the Chimanimani mountains at altitudes of between 1,500 and 2,300 meters. It grows as a hanging plant, with just a few leaves in the home, but many more in cultivation. We grow it in a greenhouse with pebbles at the base and it grows well.
