Summary: Aloe hazeliana var. howmanii is an aloe that grows on cliffs in eastern Zimbabwe. Aloe hazeliana var. howmanii is a small aloe that grows on cliffs in eastern Zimbabwe south of the Chimanimani Mountains at altitudes of between 1,500 and 2,300 meters. It grows as a hanging plant, with only a few leaves in its habitat, but many more in cultivation. We grow it in a greenhouse with pebbles at the base and it grows well.
