It does not differ from the type in its habit. It is a shrub with a single trunk that can reach 3 or even 4.5 meters in height. Flowering here tends to take place in late autumn and winter. Our specimen was sown with seeds from Heuning Klip near Hermanus on the south coast of South Africa in 2011 and planted in 2013.
