Description
Protea lepidocarpodendron is a 2 to 3-metre-high shrub with few branches. Inflorescences have cream to pink bracts. The plant illustrating this sheet is the form with pink bracts. This species is native to the Cape region, between the seashore and 600 meters above sea level, on sandstone or granitic soils. We flower from late winter to early spring.
