Mez<\/p>\n<p>Synonym: Hechtia pitcairniifolia B.Verl.<\/p>\n<p>Family: Bromeliaceae<\/p>\n<p>Origin: Chile<\/p>\n<p>Common name: Fascicularia<\/p>\n<p>Hardiness: around -10\u00b0C for short periods and planted in very draining soil.<\/p>\n<p>Fascicularia bicolor is a Chilean epiphytic terrestrial plant of the pineapple family (Bromeliaceae). It grows on rocky areas in the mountains. It grows slowly, forming a clump a few meters wide over twenty years or so. Evergreen foliage. The leaves are edged with prickles.
