Common name: cactus Trichocereus strigosus is a cactus forming a bush about one meter in diameter with stems about 60 cm high. White flowers appear in summer. This plant is endemic to western Argentina, at altitudes of between 700 and 2,000 meters, in deserts, particularly in the province of Mendoza.
