Description
Protea ‘Sylvia’ is a hybrid between Protea eximia and Protea susannae dating from 1977. It forms a large bush reaching 2 meters in height in over 10 years and as wide in good conditions. The inflorescences are rather large and appear in winter and spring, but can occasionally come up in summer or autumn, depending on the weather. Like all protae, it needs well-drained, fertilizer-free soil (no phosphorus).
