It grows to 1-2 meters high and 3 meters wide. It grows on mountain slopes at altitudes of between 100 m and 850 m, in rich, well-drained soils. Our specimen was sown in 2009 with seeds from Paarl and planted in 2011 near the rock. It hasn’t had any frosts. We have no experience of this little cultivated plant.
