Description
Ferocactus histrix is a globular, pale-green cactus 20 to 40 cm in diameter and 40 to 70 cm high. It is native to northern and central Mexico, where the dry season is winter. It should therefore not be watered in winter. Watering takes place from March to early November, with the most watering in summer. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings.
