Greyia sutherlandii is a deciduous shrub that can reach heights of 3 to 7 meters in its habitat. We bought it from Dino Pellizaro in 1994 and planted it in 1995. We have two specimens, the largest of which probably reaches 3 meters in height and spreads well. This species is native to the slopes and ridges of the Drakensberg up to 1,800 meters above sea level. The flowers are orange-red and appear in June.
