After a winter closure punctuated by numerous storms, and a very cool period, the garden will reopen its doors from February 20, 2021. A number of changes were made during the closure, with the invaluable help of the association’s volunteers and the Roscoff town council, to offer visitors even more novelties! The garden has reopened earlier in the season than usual, to allow visitors to take advantage of the vacations, but also to enjoy the blooms usually reserved for lucky gardeners (Protea, Hakea, Banksia…)! The Garden team is delighted to be able to welcome the public back to a garden bursting with flowers after a windy, cold winter!
In view of the continuing health crisis, the following arrangements have been made to limit the risk of contagion (reservations are not required prior to the visit):
– Reminder of barrier gestures
– Ground markings from the garden entrance to the reception area to ensure social distancing.
– Hydro-alcoholic gel available at reception before any transaction
– Personnel must wear masks and gloves
– Semi-open reception window for extra protection (disinfected several times a day)
– CB payment, preferably contactless.
– Disinfection of the CB remote control after each transaction
-Daily disinfection of all objects in potential contact with visitors
In this particular context, a visit to the garden is an opportunity to get away from it all and travel around the world without taking a plane! Despite the situation, we look forward to welcoming many of you for the 2021 season.
