Banksia spinulosa var. collina is a small shrub of the Proteaceae family native to Australia. It can reach 1.5 to 3 metres in height. It has evergreen foliage and a lignotuber. Flowering takes place in autumn-winter and early spring. Its inflorescences are 6 to 15 cm high, with variations of gold and orange. It needs light to medium-heavy soils with good drainage and humidity. It is pollinated by bees and hornets. Our specimen comes from the Muséum national d'histoire naturelle and was planted in 1996.
