Die Pflanze bl\u00fcht, wenn die Rosette genug Energie gesammelt hat, um dies zu tun. Daher muss die Rosette breit genug sein. Nach der Bl\u00fcte teilt sich die Pflanze und bildet weitere kleine Rosetten. Bei uns beginnt der Bl\u00fctenstand im Herbst zu sprie\u00dfen, um im Juni des folgenden Jahres zu bl\u00fchen und eine gro\u00dfe L\u00e4nge (bis zu 5 m) zu erreichen. Die Bl\u00fcten sind rot und werden von Best\u00e4ubern besucht. Wir besitzen drei Exemplare, die alle drei in der wenig frostgef\u00e4hrdeten Zone in der N\u00e4he des Felsens oder auf dem Felsen wachsen. Jedes Exemplar hat mindestens einmal gebl\u00fcht.
