Er muss im Winter trocken bleiben. Bei uns starb er bei -4\u00b0C ohne besonderen Schutz vor Regen.<\/p>\n<p>Echinocereus pentalophus ist ein kleiner, buschiger Kaktus mit St\u00e4ngeln, die \u00fcber den Boden laufen und eine H\u00f6he von maximal 20 cm erreichen. Die Bl\u00fctezeit ist im Sommer. Wir kultivieren ihn in einem Freilandgew\u00e4chshaus mit w\u00f6chentlicher Bew\u00e4sserung von Mitte M\u00e4rz bis Juni und im Oktober, zweimal w\u00f6chentlich von Juli bis September, wobei wir das Wetter f\u00fcr den September ber\u00fccksichtigen.
